About Us

Located at 5494 Rt. 23 Main Street in Windham, New York, the Main Street Community Center offers a wide range of classes and events for people of all ages. In addition to our physical location, the Center offers virtual classes, partners with other local organizations and provides off-site opportunities. The Center's warm and welcoming atmosphere celebrates the idea that unity is at the heart of every community. See the Programs page to learn what classes and events are upcoming.

Mission

The Main Street Community Center is building a healthy, caring, welcoming and inclusive Community for all who live in and visit Windham, NY, and its surrounding towns and hamlets. The Center acts as a catalyst for that Community vision through its partnerships with other organizations and by offering social, economic, educational, recreational, and cultural programs and services, to help meet neighbors' needs, including the underserved.
